At Pennywell Early Years Centre, we’re incredibly proud of our dedicated and nurturing team. Each member of staff brings their own unique skills, experience and passion for early years education; all working together to provide a safe, inspiring and joyful place for your child to grow and learn.

Our team is committed to building strong relationships with children and families, creating a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and included. We believe that learning begins with a smile, and our staff go above and beyond to make every day special.

🌟 Office Team

  • Ruth Williamson – Headteacher
    Ruth leads our school with care and dedication, ensuring that every child gets the support they need to succeed.
  • Nicole Hunt – Deputy Headteacher (Curriculum & Safeguarding)
    Nicole is responsible for overseeing our birth to five curriculum and our whole school assessments. Nicole is also a Designated Safeguarding Deputy (DSD), Student Manager, and Evolve Lead, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all
  • Phil Hunt – School Business Manager
    Phil is the backbone of our school’s operations, ensuring the smooth running of all financial, administrative, and logistical aspects of the centre. From managing budgets to overseeing staff and resources, Phil plays a vital role in keeping everything organised and running efficiently.
  • Bonni Dixon – Inclusion Manager
    Bonni is here to support children with additional needs and works closely with families and staff to ensure every child feels included.

🌈 Main Room (3-4s)

  • Allison Green – Teacher
    Allison is a dedicated teacher who is responsible for leading our Main Room. She supports her team to create engaging activities to support children’s learning and growth.
  • Amy Brennan – Senior Early Years Practitioner
    Amy supports the learning and development of the children while leading daily activities and routines.
  • Rebecca Miller – Early Years Practitioner
    Rebecca is passionate about early childhood development and works closely with children to support their individual needs. She also oversees SEND provision in the Main Room, ensuring children with additional needs receive the right support and care to thrive.
  • Rachel Smith – Early Years Practitioner
    Rachel helps children grow and develop through play and exploration.
  • Olivia Knowles – Early Years Practitioner
    Olivia is committed to supporting children through fun, nurturing, and purposeful play-based learning.

  • Samantha Trewick – Senior Early Years Practitioner (Maternity)
    Samantha leads the Kinder and Riser Rooms, ensuring the children receive high-quality early education.
  • Hannah Watson – Early Years Practitioner
    Hannah works closely with children, supporting their development through hands-on activities.
  • Paige Lee – Early Years Practitioner 
    Paige is a valued team member providing care and education for our younger children.
  • Emma Harrison – Early Years Practitioner
    Emma creates a warm, safe, and enriching environment for our children to learn and grow.
  • Ellie Dixon – Early Years Practitioner
    Ellie assists children with their learning and personal development, ensuring they feel valued and included.
  • Aaleyah Kane – Early Years Practitioner
    Aaleyah provides a caring, supportive, and engaging environment where our children feel confident to explore, play, and develop at their own pace.
  • Thamina Begum – Early Years Practitioner
    Thamina provides a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Reece Boys-Hope – Early Years Practitioner
    Reece nurtures strong, trusting relationships with the children, helping them feel secure as they learn, discover, and flourish through meaningful play.

🌟 Baby Nest and Snug (Birth to 2s)

  • Jessica Cooney – Senior Early Years Practitioner and Designated Safeguarding Deputy (DSD)
    Jessica leads the care and provision of our youngest learners, ensuring they feel safe and settled and start to develop bonds outside of their family units.
  • Violet Hartburn – Senior Early Years Practitioner
    Violet leads the care and provision of our youngest learners, creating a calm and nurturing environment where babies feel safe, secure, and supported as they begin to build bonds beyond their family.
  • Hannah Dobinson – Early Years Practitioner
    Hannah cares for our youngest children, providing loving and tailored care to support their early development.
  • Lucy Norman – Early Years Practitioner
    Lucy supports children’s learning and helps them develop essential skills.
  • Megan Foster – Early Years Practitioner
    Megan works with our babies to create a stimulating environment for early development.
  • Nicola Atkinson – Early Years Practitioner
    Nicola is dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing space where babies can grow and explore.
  • Siobhan Eltringham – Early Years Practitioner
    Siobhan brings a gentle energy to the baby room, using her talent for music and storytelling to captivate our youngest children.

    Sadia supports children in various rooms, offering care, play, and learning opportunities.

    Katie helps to ensure that children receive the best possible support and care throughout their day.

    Caitlin supports children in their day-to-day learning, assisting in activities and play.
  • Elishia Martin – Early Years Assistant
    Elishia helps children with their learning and ensures a positive experience during their day.
  • Amy Pringle – Early Years Assistant
    Amy supports children’s activities, ensuring they have a positive experience each day.
  • Jenifer Agar – Early Years Assistant 
    Jenifer helps children to feel happy and secure during their session.
  • Nasifah Begum – Early Years Assistant 
    Nasifah provides challenge and support for children who are preparing to move on to primary school.
